One button, everywhere
The star sits at the bottom of the app's Home screen, on the Home Screen widget and on the lock screen widget. Tap it, then type or tap the microphone and just say it.
Brain dump into lists and notes
Dump everything in one go, however messy. Then pick My Lists or My Notes; a title, a folder or an existing list are optional, and the Save button says where it is going:
- My Lists: the text is split into separate items, and a first line like "Groceries" becomes the list name. Add to a list you have or start a new one
- My Notes: kept as it is, in a folder you pick, titled by you or by the date and time
Or set an alarm in plain words
Write "call the dentist at 3pm tomorrow" and tap Alarm. Grip reads the time, shows it for you to check, and sets an alarm that rings like one. Forgot to say a time? It picks one and lets you change it.
Why this helps with ADHD
Holding a thought "for later" costs working memory, and that is often the first thing to run out. Getting it out of your head in seconds, before switching back, means the thought is safe and you can carry on with what you were doing.
Good to know
- Does it work without typing?
- Yes. Tap the microphone and speak; your words are turned into text first.
- Does a brain dump end up in my plan?
- No. Lists and notes stay separate until you decide. Ask your coach if you want something planned.
