A reason, not a wall
At 23:10 a timer saying "you have used your phone too much" is easy to ignore. "Your run is at 08:00. Phone down now still gets you seven and a half hours" is harder to ignore, because it is about something you care about.
Your screen stays private
Grip reads only screen-on and unlock patterns, and that stays on your phone. It never sees what is on your screen or which app you are in, only that a scroll has run long.
You decide
Tap "I will try it" or "I am good". Nothing is locked and nothing is counted against you. Grip learns which times an interrupt helps and which it does not.
Good to know
- Does it block apps?
- No. It suggests stopping and gives you a reason. You stay in control.
- Can I turn it off?
- Yes. Phone usage is an optional permission, and the scroll breaker has its own off switch.
